… Update: I’ll be sticking with this for now. I’m still hoping for a more cost effective solution, but it does go further than regular litter. ~2 weeks is a pretty good estimate for one bag, although you have to be sparing, and I only have one cat. I imagine a multi-cat household would get pretty expensive pretty quick. But it works, it doesn’t give me any allergic reactions, and although it tracks worse than pine [which I can’t use do to an allergic reaction], it’s not as bad as regular litter.

Cats have developed an incredible hydration mechanism, which means they generally only urinate two to three times each day.
